Latest reviews of Grammar Express Super Ed Lite app for iPhone and iPad

Spelling & Grammatical mistakes.
I Love the tests and large amount of material. However, very disappointed that I found a few spelling mistakes and some minor grammatically incorrect answers. Ex: - "of" instead of "off". - Leaving the subject out of answers when the lessons show the correct format is to include the subject. Have only been through the "Passive & Active Voice" series and not checked the others. But I dont want to go through the other series knowing there might be more mistakes. I dont mind spending money on good apps. But when it is a grammar and English language app, You should definitely triple check the answers and spelling to make sure its perfect before you release it and charge that much money ! I need help with my English grammar. If there are mistakes, how can I trust anything released from this company ? Maybe it was just me but I also found it hard to find the actual lessons. Once I figured out which button to push the lessons and examples are good. But I would appreciate a format that shows the lessons first then takes you to the questions. Immediately jumping into the tests was very confusing.
Excellent grammar app
This is great app, just like bible of grammar. It has everything every English student need to learn about grammar. Tons of lessons on rules, examples and quizzes.
Fails to Deliver
This is a false app. It is not free and the content is not perfect. I have noticed one GLARING error in just the free version. The free version only has the TO BE Verb. Why would I buy the full $20 version or smaller apps when I can see errors and the questions lack variety? When answering questions about the BE Verb, all answer choices were either IS or ARE, even though answer choices usually had HAVE and WERE as other choices. Thats not even challenging or helpful. Here is an error example: "It______now a week since you left home. Choices: ARE AM IS WERE Anything wrong here?? IS is apparently the correct answer and the app gives the one sentence explanation: "It expresses state, third person singular hence "is." The correct answer is HAS BEEN - Present Perfect Tense. A vague or indeterminate time in the past that some how has meaning in present or asks about a recent past time in reference to the present. IS is correct if you dont know English or grammar rules or have learned bad English. In any case, you dont want to be learning from something that has wrong answers. When learning a LANGUAGE, answers should be PERFECT and detailed, accepting anything less will lead to problems and false understanding (especially in a static app that is not fast and riddled with errors like common spoken English). Conclusion: Waste of time and money.
